NYC is probably the most photogenic city on earth. It is hard not to take a good photo. The subway system was always a fascinating place to me; both in its engineering (not to mention foresight) and its daily use. Simply put, this is the gathering place for the most diverse and talented people you would find anywhere.

…the street, after mid-morning, the sun drenches the concrete with white light. Some streets are covered in shade – large oaks draped in moss hanging lazily over the sidewalks. Old men sit in garages or under trees slurping beer and sharing stories, only to be interrupted by me walking by. They wave and I wave back and keep walking, but secretly I hope they call me over to sit with them so I can relax and drink a beer and tell them about my travels and I can ask them about their lives. I could spend an entire afternoon with strangers but I keep walking and they continue with their leisure.

Many famous people come from Liberty County; but unless you are a local resident who happens to be a history professor, I guarantee that you have never heard of any of them. But regardless, this is a very historical area and there are many photo opportunities to take advantage of. I'm only just beginning. I will take a photos of everything in Hinesville, the people, animals, building, waterways, woods, swamp, etc, etc...
For those of you who have been copying my photos for years now, you will find a treasure trove in a few months. This will be my best work.

This is my first time in Savannah. It was almost exactly like I thought it would be; a place rich in hitory and culture. It seems much of it is emphasized for the sake of tourism, but sometimes that is the only way to keep its history alive.
